Posture Exercises - Back Strengthening
Most of us know about the benefits of stretching at your desk to decrease back pain and neck pain. What we tend to forget is that we also need to strengthen our backs to avoid the physical aches and pains associated with deskwork. For a great posture exercise, the "Wall Angels" exercise is great for improving posture because the wall gives you the biofeedback needed to properly align the spine and head. This back strengthening exercise also strengthens the lower trapezius muscles, which helps to eliminate back and neck pain by decreasing the overuse of the neck and shoulder muscles.
